Main site page gone???

Went to the TD front page today and instead got a web hosting advertisement? Also part of the forum is DOA too?

A temporary or isolated problem? Or something worse?

Temporary issue, AFAIK. Don't know the cause.

look at the dates at the main page... last post was october 6, before that was october 31... there was a time paradox!

remember the fifth of november, time travel was invented... and posting on this date caused the teardown website to create a time paradox, the results of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space time continuum, and destroy the entire universe!

We have not got a message from the website host Melmac.se if it was a glitch or something else. We have sent them an email asking but have not got a reply and now suddenly everything is working again.

If the site would suddenly go down permanently and suddenly (due to forces outside TearDown) you will find the final words from us on Strategy Informer.

There have been some issues with the web server. The admins know about it and are looking into it, hopefully they have solved it now so we're back to stay.

I happened to visit the site just before downtime to witness the results of a hack by some religious fanatics.
I couldnt understand why should they choose to attack teardown of all the sites of world wide web. I mean, what they tried to achive? what they tried to tell, besides throwing some threats here and there.
Now I understand you werent the target. The whole webhost was.
And now I am glad that you are back and well.

We have not heard anything about a hack yet, too bad you did not screen shot it. Oh well. Hopefully the attacks have stopped now but I am still unable to upload the news onto our main page at the moment.

I'm guessing it has to do with the mention of "marines" or "soldiers". Saw a similar thing with a site using "angels" a few years back when there was this mess with newspaper comic parodying the islamic prophet (Mahomet, I think).
Some people don't look, just hack and bother later with the consequences.

I may be. It was indeed an islamic attack. It said -with very bad english- something like "if attackes to islamic sites continue, your sites won't be safe" and also there was a background speech (or chant), the page was mostly green, and there was a link to an islamic information site.
The information site looked normal. Non offensive type.
You should see my shock when I heard the speech/chant.
