Default Templar Assault:for android 0.o

I found this whilst looking for some Warhammer 40k apps.

There are quite a few differences that make the game less enjoyable.

Shooting range seems to only be 4 squares.

Your characters can level up

Your characters have health, so its easy to deal with the Gene- i mean xenos in close combat.

There dose not seem to be an overwatch mode.

There are basically no command points, except the seargent gets more ap than everyone. Yet action points are "called" command points.

Your units have stats, but im not sure how they work quite yet.

Interesting...even if I only have an iphone. All changes might have been made to not be sued by GWS.

Urgh. I like simple graphics, but there's a distinct difference between simple and crude.

Have you ever thought about how many people would love Alien Assault but they don't even know it exists?

Now you wouldn't do anything for free!

Now seriously, it's funny the way that decisions of very few people can affect so many others...

Graphics are ugly : it looks like sketches of 12 years old.Totally non-inspired.A fine example that simplistic graphics are just one step away from ugly graphics.

The whole idea of adding stats is somewhat ok,but removing Command Points,Blips,Overwatch is just...Boo!

I'm actually a big fan of Templar Assault. In fact, it was because of that game that I found this one. The complaints above are valid, but the game receives constant improvements and support and is amuch more refined game today than it was when this thread was opened (though still considered beta).

The changes from the Space Hulk formula are well implemented and provide a different enough experience to make it worth playing if you have an android device.
