Some kind of warning when I'm about to incinerate my sergeant... again.

Twice now I have made the mistake of clicking on my sergeant with the heavy flamer selected, and it's slightly annoying.

You're in combat mode and clicking on your Sergeant.
I recommend you get into the habit of leaving combat mode beofre switching to another marine or start using the numeric keys to switch between the troops.

Just as a side note, point out that several space Hulk FAQ pages clearly state that marines can't shoot at each other. That is, you can't flame a room if that will hit one of your fellows, or start auto-fire if one of your partners is in the (possible) LOF.

Of course, this is Alien Assault, not Space Hulk :tongue:

Some FAQs stated that about the Flamers, but I recall some stated just the opposite as well.
And I'm pretty sure none said anything about preventing Auto Fire just because there was a friendly trooper in the line of fire. :p

There is nothing better than the feeling of burning a room filled with enemies and one of your own soldiers. All enemies die from the flames and your soldier is standing there still alive. You just yell out...loud! I've done it and co-workers have asked me what I was doing. :thumbsup:
