This was too little even for a teaser movie. Didn't tease me at all :thumbdown: . (Not that i have to be teased after such a long waiting time. ;) )
One screenshot of a marine surrounded by aliens in blood covered coridor and then just blank screen with sound of shooting and marine scream :fighting: and voila you have a teaser trailer.

I still creamed my power armor. It's like, 1 week till release!!! After the 30th, all I'll have to wait for is HistWar and the new Gettysburg game from the Take Command guys.

caribican & alex3337: We wanted to release something so we felt we'd release the intro (which can be disabled) instead of making something that takes time off the last attempts to get the game flawless.

Also may I say that the "ambient war in the background" of the intro is different every time you start the game.

I agree with Niklas point though, besides TD fans are used to survive only on small dosages of informations. :)

Beyond Good & Evil 2 has great teaser. Nothing is revealed yet it catches the atmosphere and you know, just teases you.

I agree.. it's one of the greatest teasers ever made.. I know nothing of the game but still want to dedicate my entire life playing it.. :)

I think the teasers for Mechwarrior 5 were really good...can't remember who posted those...was it you caribican?

Anyway, yes, don't waste your time doing a proper teaser, although some in-game screenshots I think are better teasers than the game intro, they generate more speculation and hype, and take little time as well:)

Nope, i posted Starcraft 2 teaser in some topic. MW5 trailer was a teaser? I thought it was a gameplay. :'(

I think the trailer is not gameplay, but it's within the engine nontheless. Not sure but it's almost as good:). But there were some teasers that actually showed small parts of the trailer itself before the actual trailer.
