Are we allowed to make our own sprites and if so can someone show me?

1. Yes.
2. There isn't anything to show, really. The sprites are stored in the game directory under /GFX, and they're standard BMP files that can be opened with pretty much any graphics editor out there.

I opened 'em with MS paint. although I have yet to have the balls to do anything to them. of course, there is photoshop...

lol, well you can always not save it if you stuff up majorly.
