Hi,

it may be a bit early for that, but since I loved the first one, I wanted to offer my services to translate this opus in French.
I also wanted to know if you intended to support translations natively. Having the translation built in the game is always preferable to mucking about with translation files, isn't it ?

I'm a professional translator (http://www.proz.com/translator/1309349), but seeing how your games are freeware, I won't be asking for money. I'll only ask that I be the only one to work on it. I always strive for the best possible quality, but cannot vouch for that of others, especially if they are not professionals.

Sounds interesting. I'll contact you later on regarding this. When it comes to built in vs language files it is very unusual to hard code in bigger games. We'll use language files in AA2 too. Please send your email / contact info in a PM.

Both, really. Keeping them in an external file allows for easy adjustment without having to recompile the entire program.

All AAA games you play have language files, nothing is hardcoded.

What I meant is just that it should be easy to do it from within the game, and not to have to download and overwrite files somewhere in the installation folder.

AA2 will have a much better system for managing localizations in the game.

We will most likely implement a system that allows you to in main menu switch between all available localizations present in the localization directory. Game will search and find all available files.
