While it would require a whole load of new sprites, I think a 1st person camera similar to the original Space Hulk game would be a great addition to the game. Would certainly rise the feeling of immersion, that's for sure; perhaps even make close combat a bit more interesting.

Well, just an idea.

it wouldnt require a new engine if you didnt do all the you shoot by clicking in the window like in the EA SH but you just had a panel on the side with all your normal movement and overwatch settings...it would just take a shit load of time to change the sprites!

Lol! I had this idea too. I even drew up some concepts in MS-paint. Basically a turn based version of the first EASH, which would be sweet. But it really doesn't fit in well with the game, and it would be a major project with a total overhaul of the game, and TearDown has done enough!

I would just like a window that had a picture view of what the current selected marine was looking at IE door, corridor, wall, room, and monster and so on. It would not even have to be real time like a doom view or CW view just a picture that changes depending what marine is looking at.

Hell if that was added in; I could render up some screenshots for each view in blender.
