He should have all the credits available for doing this. Nice work!

So, how far do you think the guy will get into the campaign?

If I may be so daring ... we has incredibly lucky, or the AI was soft on the guy. Some comments on his strategy (again, if I may dare):
In the first mission, he should have set the OW marines (1, 2 and 3) with their back against the wall, not at the immediate exit of the corridor. They way he did it, you only get 2 shots. If you take 2 steps back, you would get 4 shots. In addition, you would have marines 1 and 3 cover each other.

In the second mission ... I'm not sure setting OW is worth the risk. Every time I've used that approach (4 steps forward, set OW), I've been killed from behind when an alien stepped from a tunnel. At least he did it right, and did not waste time closing that door. Remember: a single marine moves faster than the aliens ... 4 AP + 3.5 CP > 6 AP
In the third mission ... those 2 AP he used to turn around and face the enemy could have been used to step into the room and complete the mission ... maybe at the cost of his life, but 100% sure on victory conditions. Again, he did not close the security door ... not sure if that's good or bad, but he was dumb lucky that first blip was a false alarm.
How far will he get? He's already past the initial pain ... it's only easier from there. We'll see again when he gets to Abyss and Terminus. From there, there's only Enigma and Indestructible.

You're forgetting the hordes of gribblies waiting in Pandora.
... and 3 enemies spawning regularly each round on Extraction coupled with tunnels can get nasty as well, since the AI prefers to accumulate them for a rush.

I don't remember having so much trouble with Pandora ... but yes, I remember Extraction causing some pain with all those tunnels. There's nothing funnier than setting OW just on top of an exit tunnel, and being killed from underneath without having a single shot
alex: Why do you stand on a square hinting that it's a tunnel entrance? ;) You do play V1.01 don't you?

I actually had that happen to me in 1.01, but in my defense an alien corpse covered up the tunnel marker. :johndoe:
Well, we cannot have a flashing beacon... ;)

I have not played Infestation again ... currently going through Ven-Suri-Ven, by Manji. I usually play through single-mission option these days (thanks for releasing the MILLA cheat code!)
The standing on a tunnel situation happened a couple of days ago in an official single-mission scenario ... Terror. The tunnels have not been hinted there.
