can't complete 2nd mission, 1st campaign

this is the one where you need to deliver the object to a room in 12 turns with one soldier.

I go to the room where the object is, I can hear it bleeping loudly, and I think I see it at the top of the room, flashing. But, standing next to it, there's no pickup option.

The object is not the one you´re staning on. It's the one to the left, one square down. I think its blue. Stand on and pick up.

Yeah, it's the blue thing. I had the same problem when I first played that mission. I even shot the gizmo in the room out of frustration.

Computers, cryos, crates and corpses are permament fixtures and cannot be picked up. You should have been tipped off about that by the fact you can't walk onto their square, since if you played the tutorials you'd know the only items that can be picked up are the ones on the same square as your soldier.

There is a gas tank in the room, to the side of the computer. That's the item you need to deliver to the exit.
